Philosophy

• I aim to create opportunities for underrepresented groups in science at all career stages including high school, undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate, and post-doctoral.

• I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone is valued, celebrated when things are going well, and supported when things aren’t going well.

• Everyone has different learning styles and skill sets. I am committed to provide individualized training that builds on strengths, and addresses weaknesses that will prepare trainees for the next career stage.
